Stewardship & giving

A household's giving, and giving lists

Open a person's profile and, if you hold the Stewardship permission, a Giving tab on their full record page shows that household's giving faithfully: this year and last, their last gift, the largest and the average, and the fund they give to most — with a gentle LYBUNT or SYBUNT flag when one applies. Pledges and campaign progress live in Stewardship itself, where the full tools are. Without the amounts permission you still see the shape of it — the figures simply read "—". Loose-plate and fee rows recorded as unattributed during import are left out of this view entirely — they were never a personal gift, so they never appear on a household's giving.

Unroll a household's funds

On the Givers list for a fund or campaign, click a household's row to unroll it — see the fund-by-fund breakdown of what that household has given, right there in the list, without opening the full profile.

Gentle follow-up flags

These power kind stewardship follow-up, not dunning.

Giving lists

Giving becomes saved lists too — "gave to the scholarship fund," "pledge behind schedule," "LYBUNT households." Building a list that uses a giving field needs the Stewardship permission; sending to a saved list does not — a volunteer can write to "LYBUNT households" and see the count, but the donor names and amounts stay withheld unless they're entitled. Unattributed rows are excluded from every giving field a list can filter on.

The same care follows giving wherever it appears. When you open one of the premade lists in Engagement, a Last contribution column shows for staff who hold the Stewardship permission and is simply absent for everyone else — no blank column, no hint that something is being kept from them.
