Today & daily work
Sending birthday and anniversary greetings
Each morning, Today gathers the parishioners with a birthday or wedding anniversary and offers a ready-to-edit greeting for each. It only lists living parishioners who have agreed to be contacted and who have not already received one this year.
Send a greeting
- 1. On Today, find the person's card under Today's messages (use the Today / This week toggle to look ahead).
- 2. Read the draft. It is signed in the priest's name and you can edit it freely.
- 3. Choose how to reach them with the channel dropdown — email, text, or call.
- 4. Click Send. There is a few-second window to Undo before it goes.
Anniversaries and spouses
For a wedding anniversary, the greeting can also go to the spouse — but only if the spouse is recorded and has agreed to be contacted. Each person gets their own message.
Tips
- Edited a draft but not ready to send? Your wording is saved and will be there when you come back.
- To handle the whole day's messages together, use Send all.
- Greetings only appear for people with contact consent — this keeps the parish respectful of who wants to hear from you.
