Understanding group and message insights
Open a group's Workspace → Insights for an honest picture of how the group is doing, and click Detail on any message for what happened after you pressed send. Group leaders see the same numbers for their own groups in the portal; senders see their own sends.
What the numbers mean
- Standing now — who's active, pending, or has left, as of this moment.
- Joins and leaves — counted from the group's audited membership events in your chosen window: manual adds, spreadsheet imports, portal joins, share-link/QR joins, approvals, removals, and leaves. Every count traces back to a recorded event.
- Message outcomes — planned recipients (frozen at your confirmation), what actually happened per person (sent, skipped, failed — each with its reason), and how many distinct people were reached.
- Opens and clicks — unique per person, and honestly imperfect: mail privacy features can inflate some opens and hide others. Treat them as a helpful signal, not a headcount.
All times shown are UTC.
What Vianney won't pretend to know
Until email/texting providers are fully connected, copies that couldn't be transmitted are shown as *recorded, with the reason* — never quietly counted as delivered. Bounce and delivery confirmations appear once provider events are wired; before that, the panels say "not available yet" instead of showing misleading zeros.
Privacy
Leaders see aggregates and message outcomes for their groups only — never another member's email or phone, and never other groups. Members don't see analytics at all.
