Turning a Narthex note into a care case or sick-list entry

When a note is about illness, hospital, hospice, or grief, Narthex offers to turn it into pastoral follow-up so it does not slip through the cracks.

The action links

On a care-related card where a person is identified, you will see:
- + Care case — opens a care case pre-filled with the person, the note, and its urgency.
- + Sick list — adds the person to the parish sick list with the note attached.

How to use them

• 1. On the card, click + Care case or + Sick list.
• 2. Confirm the create. The entry is made immediately and the person is linked.
• 3. Work it from the Care tab afterward — see Working a care case and Keeping a sick list.

Tips

• You can still send a reply to the person from the same card — the two are independent.
• These links only appear when Vianney recognizes a care situation and has a person to attach it to, so they stay out of your way the rest of the time.
