The audit trail
The audit trail is a running, read-only record of who did what in Vianney — a quiet backstop for accountability and for answering "what happened here?"
Read it
- 1. Go to Settings → Audit trail (admin).
- 2. Browse recent actions — each shows the action, the person, the time, and what was affected.
- 3. Filter by an action keyword to narrow things down.
What it does and does not keep
- It records that an action occurred — a sign-in, a staff change, a record update.
- It deliberately omits sensitive contents: passwords, the text of pastor's notes, and the like are never stored in the log.
Tips
- Use it to confirm a change, or to reconstruct a sequence of events.
- The audit trail pairs with the access rules: roles limit what people can do, and the trail records what they did.
